I would definitely recommend Janine from Thinking Brains to do an assessment. She is SO warm and engaging and her positive and friendly demeanor wins you over immediately. She really simplifies the results of the assessment for you and gives you practical solutions and recommendations to follow. I found the results extremely insightful. I asked her to do the assessment on all 3 of my children, aged 17, 15 and 12 and found each one beneficial for different reasons. My eldest was beneficial as it’s guided him on what path he should follow in terms of career choices, that would suit his personality and “thinking” style in addition to what would make him happy. It reconfirmed that my middle child has made the right decision regarding her subject choices and helped me to understand more about my youngest child’s scholastic needs and what study techniques work for him. My children also found it very interesting and beneficial too. My youngest is delighted that we have implemented the new homework strategies and with lots of patience and positive attitudes, I have seen a remarkable improvement in these sessions…thank heavens. We are no longer clashing, and it’s made it less stressful for both of us. Janine goes above and beyond her call of duty to provide an excellent professional and valuable assessment. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her to anyone, adult or child.
